Joel and I took a big step in our relationship today. A brief history of us: we met through an online dating site. We start emailing at the beginning of August, met in person near the end, started dating September 1st and got legally married October 30th. All in 2012. We had our real wedding a year later in October 2013.
Today...today we added each other to our bank accounts. I know right, it's like, whoa, slow down a bit there you two. No need to be hasty.
We did it for business reasons, and yes, mom just in case one of us dies we'll have access to the other's account. But we are still going to keep our finances separate as that is what is healthy for us. We took a selfie at the bank to celebrate!
