20 Ways to Win

Straight from the Secret Lair, I have a new favourite commander deck - 20 Ways to Win! This Magic the Gathering Deck contains 20 unique ways to win a game. It came with a handy little checklist that I've recreated here so I can keep track of whether or not I ever complete the whole list!

20 Ways to Win:

1. "Forgot Your Suncreen" - Win using Approach of the Second Sun
- completed 28 December 2024 (against Joel & Jacob)
- again on 01 January 2025 (against Joel)

2. "Barbershop Quartet" - Win using Biovisionary

3. "Here, Kitty Kitty" - Win using Felidar Sovereign
- completed on 11 January 2025 (against Joel)

4. "Splish Splash" - Win using Halo Fountain
- completed on 13 February 2026 (against Joel, Ben & Amy)

5. "Storybook Ending" - Win using Happily Ever After
- completed on 23 October 2025 (against Joel, Mike, and Nick @ Dolly's in Niagara Falls)

6. "Tower of Power" - Win using Helix Pinnacle

7. "Bull in a China Shop" - Win using Hellkite Tyrant

8. "Notarized" - Win using Liliana's Contract

9. "Face the Music" - Win using Mayael's Aria

10. "Gatecrasher" - Win using Maze's End

11. "Eighth Wonder" - Win using Mechanized Production
- completed on 11 May 2025 (against Joel, Dee and John)

12. "A Penny Saved..." - Win using Revil in Riches

13. "Counter-Punch" - Win using Simic Ascendancy

14. "Go the Distance" - Win using Test of Endurance

15. "Baker's Dozen" - Win using Triskaidekaphile

16. "Ribbit" - Win using Twenty-Toed Toad (20 cards in hand)
- completed 29 December 2025 (against Joel and Ben with Jacob in a 2-headed match)

17. "Ribbit 2: The Ribbiting" - Win using Twenty-Toed Toad (20 counters)

18. "If You Want a Job Done Right..." - Win by dealing 21 Commander damage to last opponent

19. "Ol' Reliable" - Win by reducing last opponent's life total to 0
- completed on 11 January 2025 (against Joel) [with Rose Room Treasurer]

20. "The Library is Closed" - Win when the last opponent attempts to draw from an empty library

I imagine it will take years, and many tweakings of the deck, to complete this list, if ever. But I'm going to have fun trying!

XOXO, Bethany
