I haven’t been in the kitchen much as I have been working on genealogy. In the 1990’s, my husband’s aunt spent a lot of time researching family. Most of her research was done at the Ft. Wayne, Indiana Genealogy Library.
I have spent the last two weeks entering in her handwritten information into the Ancestry.com website and Family Treemaker program. Thankfully, I don’t have to enter it twice as I can sync the two programs. I am putting together books to take to the Family Reunion in June.
One interesting find is that Bethany Willer’s paternal grandfather on his maternal side traces back to Eden of Fifeshire in Scotland. Bethany’s 3rd great-grandfather immigrated to America in 1835. He arrived in Ellis Island on May 29, 1835.

I did manage to find my way to the kitchen to make pizza…
Friday Pieday: Quattro Formaggi Pizza…a style of pizza in Italy that is topped with rossa (tomato sauce) or is bianca (without), we used a tomato sauce then layered on fresh grated Parmesan, shredded Fontina, Gorgonzola, fresh mozzarella and a sprinkle of cracked black pepper.

Sunday’s Creation: Dill Pickle & Bacon Pizza…pan crust stretched thin then topped with a garlic-dill sauce, Parmesan, mozzarella, dill pickles, crumbled bacon, mozzarella, red pepper flakes, dill and garnished with a drizzle of ranch dressing.

Till next week,
